Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, at room temperature
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1/2 cup salted butter caramel sauce (store-bought or homemade)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 medium apple, peeled, cored, and diced into small pieces

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F. Line baking sheets with parchment paper and set aside.
  2. In a large bowl, cream the butter and sugar until light and fluffy, about 2 minutes.
