- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 1/2 cup water
- 1 large potato, peeled and chopped
- 1/2 cup green peas
- 1/2 teaspoon cumin seeds
- 1/2 teaspoon coriander seeds
- 1/2 teaspoon garam masala
- 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
- 1/4 teaspoon red chili powder
- Salt, to taste
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
Instructions:
- In a large mixing bowl, combine flour, salt, and 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil. Gradually add water to make a firm dough. Knead well for 5-7 minutes. Cover with a damp cloth and set aside for 30 minutes.
- In a separate skillet, heat 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil over medium heat. Add cumin and coriander seeds. Once they start to sizzle, add the chopped potatoes and peas. Sauté for 5-6 minutes.
- Add garam masala, turmeric powder, red chili powder, and salt to taste. Stir well and cook for another 3-4 minutes. Remove from heat and let it cool.
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Roll a portion of the dough into a thin circle. Cut it into two halves. Take one-half, apply water on the edges, create a cone shape. Put the filling into the cone and seal the top. Repeat this with the other half of the dough.
