Strawberry-Basil Cheesecake Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 24 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 1/2 cups granulated sugar
  • 4 eggs
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh basil leaves
  • 1 cup sliced fresh strawberries

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 325°F.
  2. Mix graham cracker crumbs, 1/4 cup sugar, and melted butter until well combined. Press mixture into the bottom of a 9-inch springform pan.
  3. Bake for 8-10 minutes, or until crust is lightly golden. Remove from oven and let cool to room temperature.
  4. In a large mixing bowl, beat cream cheese until smooth and creamy.

  10. Bake for 1 hour and 10 minutes, or until the center is almost set but still slightly jiggly.
  11. Remove from oven and let cool to room temperature.
  12. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours before serving.
