Strawberry Mousse Cigars Recipe
Ingredients
- 1 cup fresh strawberries
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 8 phyllo dough sheets
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
- Confectioners’ sugar for dusting
Instructions
- Puree the strawberries in a blender or food processor.
- Combine the pureed strawberries and granulated sugar in a medium saucepan, and cook over medium-high heat until the sugar dissolves and the mixture comes to a boil.
- Reduce the heat to low and simmer for 10-15 minutes until the mixture thickens and becomes syrupy, stirring occasionally.
