Teriyaki Chicken Wings

Ingredients:

  • 2 pounds chicken wings, separated into flats and drumettes
  • 1/2 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 2 tablespoons rice vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 2 teaspoons minced garlic
  • 1 teaspoon ground ginger
  • Pinch of red pepper flakes (optional)
  • Sesame seeds and chopped green onions for garnish

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (205°C).
  2. In a small saucepan, whisk together soy sauce, honey, rice vinegar, sesame oil, minced garlic, ginger, and red pepper flakes (if using) over medium heat until honey is dissolved.
  3. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and place chicken wings on it, leaving a little space between each wing.
  4. Brush the teriyaki sauce over the wings, making sure to coat them well on all sides.
