Tian of Red Apricots from Roussillon AOP with Almonds and Pine Nuts
Ingredients
- 10 red apricots from Roussillon AOP, pitted and cut into quarters
- 1/2 cup sliced almonds
- 1/2 cup pine nuts
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup butter, melted
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a mixing bowl, combine the sliced almonds, pine nuts, honey, brown sugar, melted butter, and vanilla extract. Mix well to combine the ingredients.
- Arrange the quartered red apricots in a circular pattern at the bottom of a 9-inch (23 cm) square baking dish.
- Evenly pour the nut mixture over the apricots, covering the entire surface.
- Bake the tian for approximately 25-30 minutes or until the nuts are golden brown in color.
- Remove the tian from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
