Ingredients:

  • 6 medium-sized apples, peeled and sliced thinly
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup raisins
  • 1/2 cup chopped walnuts
  • 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 10 sheets phyllo dough, thawed
  • 1/2 cup confectioners’ sugar for dusting

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix the sliced apples with sugar and cinnamon. Add raisins and chopped walnuts and mix well.
  3. Sprinkle breadcrumbs over each phyllo sheet. Add a layer of melted butter over it, making sure to brush the edges well.
