Ceps Tart Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 1 sheet of puff pastry
  • 3 cups of ceps (sliced)
  • 1/2 cup of heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup of grated parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons of olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon of butter
  • 2 cloves of garlic (minced)
  • 1/4 teaspoon of salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon of black pepper

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F.
  2. Place the puff pastry on a baking sheet and let it rest at room temperature.
  3. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil and butter over medium heat.
  4. Add the sliced ceps and garlic. Cook for 5-7 minutes or until they are lightly browned and tender.
  5. Add the heavy cream, salt, and pepper to the skillet and continue to cook for an additional 2-3 minutes.
  6. Remove the skillet from heat and sprinkle half of the grated parmesan cheese over the top.
  7. Use a fork to prick the puff pastry all over.
  8. Spread the ceps mixture evenly over the puff pastry, leaving a 1-inch border around the edges. Sprinkle the remaining parmesan cheese over the top.
  9. Bake the tart for 20-25 minutes or until the pastry is golden brown and puffed up.
  10. Remove the tart from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving.
