Ingredients:
- 1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk
- 1 can (12 oz) evaporated milk
- 4 eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup water
Instructions:
- Preheat your oven to 350°F.
- In a pan, combine the sugar and water over medium heat. Stir until the sugar dissolves.
- Once the sugar has dissolved, stop stirring and let it cook until it turns amber in color.
- Pour the caramelized sugar into a 9-inch cake pan and spread it evenly across the bottom. Set the pan aside.
- In a blender, mix together the sweetened condensed milk, evaporated milk, eggs, and vanilla extract until you get a smooth mixture.
- Pour the mixture over the caramelized sugar in the cake pan.
- Fill a larger, baking dish with enough hot water to reach about halfway up the side of the cake pan.
- Cover the cake pan with aluminum foil and place both pans in the oven.

- Remove the cake pan from the larger pan and let it cool to room temperature.
- Refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving.
