Small Strawberry Charlottes Recipe
Ingredients
- 15 ladyfingers
- 1 lb fresh strawberries
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup confectioner’s sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/4 cup strawberry jam
Instructions
- Cut the tops off of the strawberries and slice them thinly. Set aside.
- Whip the heavy cream, confectioner’s sugar, and vanilla extract together until it forms stiff peaks. Set aside.
- Line each cup of a muffin tin with a ladyfinger.
- Spread strawberry jam on the bottom of each ladyfinger.
- Layer the sliced strawberries on top of the jam.
- Spoon the whipped cream mixture over the strawberries.
- Top with another ladyfinger and press down lightly.
- Refrigerate the charlottes for at least 2 hours.
- To serve, run a knife around the edge of each muffin cup and gently remove the charlottes. Top with extra sliced strawberries if desired.
