Small Strawberry Charlottes Recipe

Ingredients

  • 15 ladyfingers
  • 1 lb fresh strawberries
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup confectioner’s sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup strawberry jam

Instructions

  1. Cut the tops off of the strawberries and slice them thinly. Set aside.
  2. Whip the heavy cream, confectioner’s sugar, and vanilla extract together until it forms stiff peaks. Set aside.
  3. Line each cup of a muffin tin with a ladyfinger.
  4. Spread strawberry jam on the bottom of each ladyfinger.
  5. Layer the sliced strawberries on top of the jam.
  6. Spoon the whipped cream mixture over the strawberries.
  7. Top with another ladyfinger and press down lightly.
  8. Refrigerate the charlottes for at least 2 hours.
  9. To serve, run a knife around the edge of each muffin cup and gently remove the charlottes. Top with extra sliced strawberries if desired.
