Millefeuille of Salmon Pancakes Recipe
Ingredients:
- 200g smoked salmon, thinly sliced
- 200g cream cheese
- 1 lemon, juiced and zested
- 2 tbsp chopped fresh chives
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/4 tsp paprika
- 8 pancakes, store-bought or homemade
Instructions:
- In a mixing bowl, combine the cream cheese, chives, lemon juice, lemon zest, garlic powder, and paprika. Mix until well combined.
- Place one pancake on a serving plate and spread a tablespoon of the cream cheese mixture on top of it.
- Place a layer of smoked salmon slices over the cream cheese mixture.
- Add another pancake and spread it with cream cheese mixture.
- Add another layer of smoked salmon slices.
- Repeat the layering process with the remaining pancakes, cream cheese mixture, and smoked salmon slices, ending with a layer of cream cheese mixture on top.
- Garnish with additional chives or lemon zest, as desired.
- Chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes before serving.
Serving Suggestions:
Serve cold as an appetizer or light summer lunch. This dish pairs well with a light, crisp white wine or a sparkling wine.
