Millefeuille of Salmon Pancakes Recipe

Ingredients:

  1. 200g smoked salmon, thinly sliced
  2. 200g cream cheese
  3. 1 lemon, juiced and zested
  4. 2 tbsp chopped fresh chives
  5. 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  6. 1/4 tsp paprika
  7. 8 pancakes, store-bought or homemade

Instructions:

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the cream cheese, chives, lemon juice, lemon zest, garlic powder, and paprika. Mix until well combined.
  2. Place one pancake on a serving plate and spread a tablespoon of the cream cheese mixture on top of it.
  3. Place a layer of smoked salmon slices over the cream cheese mixture.
  4. Add another pancake and spread it with cream cheese mixture.
  5. Add another layer of smoked salmon slices.
  6. Repeat the layering process with the remaining pancakes, cream cheese mixture, and smoked salmon slices, ending with a layer of cream cheese mixture on top.
  7. Garnish with additional chives or lemon zest, as desired.
  8. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes before serving.

Serving Suggestions:

Serve cold as an appetizer or light summer lunch. This dish pairs well with a light, crisp white wine or a sparkling wine.
